The
Concordia Homes organization needs to first get the information about their
organization out into the community so they know who they are. They need to
develop their need for money and support. They should make a page on each of
the major social networking sites, and print a brochure about the organization.
The signature event that they organization should put on is a Breakfast with
Santa. This is an event targeted for kids because this is the organization does
and it will offer a chance for publicity for Concordia Homes.
Breakfast
with Santa
The
budget for the event is $700
Money
raised goal is $3,000
There
needs to be great advertising for this event to happen successfully. There
should be flyers printed up to be distributed in schools, libraries the grocery
store any place that parents and kids will get excited about the event. A radio
ad and posting on social media to help get the word out. A site for the event
to be at needs to be reserved. Churches and local veteran clubs are great
places to look into. There need to be volunteer recruiting for the event to be
successful too. Tickets need to be sold in order to know approximately how many
people will attend the event. Tickets will be sold in advance for $10 per
person and $12 for tickets purchased the day of the event. There will be an
additional cost for pictures with Santa. Santa pictures will be $5 per child.
There will be a cost for hiring Santa too. When the children are waiting for
their picture with Santa they need to be kept occupied. There will be a craft
area, coloring book station, and a storybook area. The storybooks will not cost
anything because they will be Christmas books borrowed from the library. During
the breakfast the servers will be wearing elf costumes. After the event is over
there will need to be clean up.

will communicate my vision as much as possible. I will point out all the
positive it will have for the organization and the community. Breakfast with
Santa has always been a great event for kids during the Christmas season.
