Should Gun Rights be Restricted Further?

Negative
1.      Attackers use their size and physical strength to prey on women. This puts them at an extreme disadvantage
2.      Armed security works, gun bans do not
3.      The second amendment secures us the right to bare arms.

Positive
4.      Gun control is defined by Merriam-Webster as "regulation of the selling, owning, and use of guns. These three elements are often associated with the idea of restriction.
5.      Many politicians keep weapons in their homes for fear of being attacked, in addition to the bodyguards that they employ, to defend against potential attackers or shooters.
6.      Outside of state users, the sheer volume of background checks lends weight to the amount of legal red tape that surrounds firearm purchases and the need for streamlining existing legislation and restrictions.

I don’t think that restricting guns is really going to do that much good. It just like when they outlawed alcohol during the prohibition they still found ways to get it. I think the same would be true for guns. People will get them one way or another besides its not guns that kill people its people that kill people.
